How And What Do We Do
To Live A Happy, Healthy, And Sustainable Life?
Creating a healthy and sustainable life filled with joy requires us to think holistically and embrace all facets of life.
Each of us must step up, make decisions, and do our part to create the world and life we desire. We believe that everyone wants to be able to look their children and grandchildren in the eye and say with peace of mind:
‘I made informed decisions, learned new tools, gained new skills, and changed my lifestyle over time
so that I could make a positive impact on the climate, biodiversity, health, animal welfare, and human well-being.’
Such changes require skills that most of us were not taught in school. SHAPE was created based on extensive research and communication work, where we select, gather, and process relevant, evidence-based knowledge and make it, along with practical tools, easily accessible.
SHAPE’s films, articles, tests, and exercises make it easier for you
to create the future you want for the planet, yourself, your family, and future generations.
'Why Should I Eat More Plants,
When I Love Meat, Fish, Dairy, and Eggs?'
The diet we consume and our choice of transportation
are two crucial areas where each individual can make a significant impact on both personal and planetary health.
Every time we substitute animal products with plant-based alternatives, we not only bolster our own health but also that of our planet.
This reduces our risk of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and type 2 diabetes. Additionally, it promotes animal welfare, preserves biodiversity, and significantly reduces CO2 emissions and pollution.
Opting for walking, cycling, or using public transportation instead of driving, and especially minimizing air travel as much as possible, plays a huge role in reducing our carbon footprint.

Food Can Fix It!
Our Universe Of Plant-Based Recipes
The EAT-Lancet Commission, composed of 37 of the world's leading experts
in nutrition, health, agriculture, food policy, and sustainability, was tasked with examining what future meals should look like
if we are to feed a global population of 10 billion people in a healthy and sustainable way by 2050.
The report 'EAT-Lancet Commission on Healthy Diets from Sustainable Food Systems'
was published in 2019 in the esteemed scientific journal, The Lancet.
The report recommends a plant-based diet, which may be supplemented with minimal intake of animal foods.
We recommend, if possible, to eat purely Whole-Food Plant-Based, but every plant-based meal counts.
In the recipe section, you will find a comprehensive collection of plant-based recipes and tools
designed to help manage a busy everyday life.
Happiness Is Easier
When You Strengthen Your Emotional Intelligence.
New times, old habits, mindset and behavior.
Our ability to be open and ready for change is linked to our personality and our emotional intelligence. In our extensive psychology section, you will find insights and exercises that can help you strengthen your life skills and your ability to be happy. Over time, many people have greatly benefited from the ‘Create a Better World’ book series. It has changed people's lives through self-study, dialogues in families and among friends and colleagues. It has been read aloud to children and partners, creating togetherness and change.
Our world calls for empathy, compassion, and love.
Evidence-Based Information
Nearly everyone is keen on maintaining a healthy diet, yet there is so much conflicting dietary advice in the media and online that most of us are deeply confused. The OECD states that over 60% of research in scientific and technical fields is conducted by industries with a financial stake in outcomes that support their business. The industry continues to use a notorious tactic from the tobacco sector: ‘If you can’t convince them – confuse them’. Hence, it is crucial to always consider the financial backers of any research: ‘Follow the money’.
At SHAPE Your Future Life we have no financial stake in the information we share. We provide you with independent, peer-reviewed, evidence-based information to help you to make informed decisions about your lifestyle.
