The king has a vision of the formation he wants his soldiers to stand in. He sees that his lieutenant is unable to realize the vision. The king discusses the issue with his lieutenant and makes him realize that what he needs is learning. The lieutenant thus gains new insight and understands the direction of the king’s vision. He makes the vision come true. He has been transformed by the king’s vision, communication and specific insight.
"Once upon a time, there was a visionary man who achieved transformation through clear and engaging communication."
The notion of vision
Notion or mental image of the future; the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom. A good vision is a formulated expression of something worth striving for, an ideal, a distant beacon we may never reach. If the vision proves unattainable, it will have to be replaced by a new vision. Visions that are simple, brief, precise and relevant are easier for you and others to remember – and, thus, easier to steer by.
