By promoting the consumption of whole, unprocessed plant foods and completely eliminating animal-derived products and processed items, the whole-food plant-based diet serves as a unifying approach to better living.

A whole-food plant-based diet centers on the consumption of food made from whole, unprocessed plant foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds. This diet excludes animal products, including meat, dairy, and eggs. It pays special attention to food quality, promoting locally sourced, organic food whenever possible.
