Cholera, the Spanish flu, and COVID-19 are examples of diseases that have caused pandemics. The emergence of pandemics has become a significant issue in the modern world. One of the primary causes of pandemics is the way we produce and consume food. Particularly, industrial farming, also known as factory farming, has been linked to the emergence and spread of many diseases, including pandemics.
