"Once upon a time, there was a man who made himself lovable."
The notion of lovability
Fairy tales usually do not describe the time in between the wedding and ‘happily ever after’. Their focus is on the trials and tribulations preceding the wedding. Finding the right prince for the princess or the right princess for the prince is the big challenge. Much is gained in a relationship when we manage to find the one person who feels like the right companion for us.

With the right love, many of the challenges that are part of any relationship are easier to resolve. Our capacity to love and embrace ourselves and our partner begins with self-love and is best nourished through mutual openness and personal development. The right love and the right attitude rest on the notion that we are all okay as we are, and that everyone is entitled to love, respect and being treated well. No one is ‘wrong’, but one person is more ‘right’ for us to be with than others.
