Actively getting involved and taking on a cause. The action of engaging or being engaged in something. Engagement is essentially about ownership. Taking ownership of our own life, vision, mission, mission word® and values at an emotional level. And taking ownership of engaging others. For full impact, the latter has to be conditioned by the former. The more you invest in yourself, the easier it is to have others invest in themselves. That is especially true when there is a common purpose and a meaningful goal for you to engage in together.
