A noblewoman is hugging and flirting with one nobleman and then another. Afterwards we see her whispering with a couple of other noblewomen, making snide comments about the princess’s morals.
"Once upon a time, there was an amoral woman who was busy moralizing."
The notion of double standards
A rule or principle that is unfairly applied in different ways to different people or groups.
When we moralize about other people’s behaviour, we act as self-appointed judges of other people’s lives and behaviours. However, that role should be the exclusive reserve of the legally appointed judges who hand out justice in a court of law. Often, it is the people with the loosest morals who are the first to moralize.
If you see something you do not like, describe what you see and how it affects you, rather than assigning blame or guilt or disparaging others.
